Third Stage Measures Started to be Implemented in London

In the capital of England, London, third-tier measures with the strictest restrictions have been implemented within the scope of combating the new type of coronavirus outbreak. In an attempt to monitor rising infection rates, London went into the highest level of Covid-19 restrictions, dealing with another hit to hospitality venues before Christmas.

The shift of the British capital into “Tier 3” suggests that theaters, bars, restaurants would have to close, even though takeaway food outlets will still operate.

After the bars were closed, young people continued to have fun on the streets in Soho, the entertainment center of the city.

There was tension for a short time as the police warned the youth to obey the rules. Although the streets were mostly empty after the warnings, a group of young people continued to have fun in the city squares.

In London, which was included among the cities where the third stage measures will be implemented yesterday, where the strictest restrictions take place, people cannot now socialize with anyone, not from their household or support bubble but can meet in groups of up to six in public places outside.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock warned on Monday that London had seen a “sharp rise” in daily cases and hospital admissions.

“This action is absolutely essential, not just to keep people safe but because we have seen early action can prevent more damage and longer-term problems later,” he told parliament.

In London, where theaters and cinemas have to close their doors once again, football stadiums will be closed to the fans and indoor sports halls will not be able to serve.

A wedding ceremony limited to 15 people and a funeral with a maximum of 30 people will be held in the capital.

“Pete Buttigieg is a patriot and problem solver who says we can do our best as a country,” said Joe Biden. I nominate him as Minister of Transport because this post entails a lot of intersecting challenges and opportunities. ” he added.

The role of transportation secretary is expected to play a vital role in Biden’s push for a bipartisan infrastructure package.

Pete Buttigieg served as Mayor of South Bend, Indiana for 8 years. In the 2020 Democratic candidate elections, he was among the most popular candidates.

US Vice President Mike Pence Plans to be Publicly Vaccinated Against Coronavirus

According to the news, US Vice President Mike Pence plans to be vaccinated against the coronavirus by December 18.

As stated, Pence plans to be vaccinated in public, in front of television cameras. It is not yet known whether he will receive the vaccine before President Donald Trump or after.

US chief infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci recommended that both Trump and Pence receive the vaccine, despite the fact that the president has been ill with Covid – 19 and has developed antibodies.

Fauci is also convinced that President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris should also get vaccinated as soon as possible.

“You still want to protect people who are, you know, very important to our country right now,” Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said Tuesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “Even though the President himself was infected and he has likely antibodies that likely would be protective, we’re not sure how long that protection lasts.”

“I would recommend that he get vaccinated, as well as the vice president,” Fauci added.
